ya kto? kitaika?

So, i couldn't find a picture of this one kid from the orphanages, but i'll look for one.

He decided that i was chinese, much like most of the kids at that orphanage. they just can't get it in their mind that there's something other than chinese out there that have eyes like mine. so no matter how often i say korean, they repeat chinese to me.

anyway, back to this one, he told me i was chinese and i can't speak english. he himself is in the beginning stages of learning english, so he decided that he needed to test whether i knew english or not. so, he led me around the orphanage and pointed out colors and things he knew in english, and asked me what they were. so i'd let him know in english...blue, yellow, red....tree, flower... he would just say, yeah yeah, ok.

so in the end, he wasn't convinced. i'm sure he still thinks that whenever i speak not russian or ukrainian, that i'm speaking chinese. i don't know. what do you think?
